Our first COVID secure event!
Imagine driving iconic cars across the picturesque views and undulating hills of the British countryside, enjoying the stunningly good looks and character of a restored vintage vehicle while driving alongside other classic car enthusiasts. That’s what our clients got to enjoy on the 17th September 2020 in our first COVID secure event of the year.
We were delighted to be able to host our first British Classic Car road rally after our famous South of France road rally has been widely popular over the years. With travel restrictions in place for this year our famous South of France road rally seemed very unlikely. Instead, the UK was opting for staycations and days out across the UK, our British road rally was a top pick for our clients. A fantastic experience for 2 people to enjoy a beautiful day out driving classic cars across the Surrey Countryside with a lunch included, COVID secure and it was a fantastic experience!
The day started out beautiful, the weather was shining, and the famous British rainy weather was holding off to make for a sunny day. Our 10 clients met at the Silvermere golf club where they were greeted with 5 timeless classics including Jaguar E type, Austin Healey 3000, Mercedes 190SL, MGS Roadster & Cobra all of which they were able to enjoy throughout the day. We were able to pick out a beautiful country pub restaurant set against the picturesque backdrop of Goodwood and the South Downs where our clients enjoyed a British lunch before setting off again.
Our road rally lasted from 10am- 6pm and after a few petrol pit stops, and sanitising the cars for our clients to swap over, we all overall enjoyed a perfect day out driving stunning classics across the countryside. Overall our British Road rally was a triumph but what makes the experience was our amazing clients who were all extremely understanding of the COVID regulations, all shared a love for classic cars and were an absolute delight!

This rally is one of the many COVID secure events we hope to hold going forward. This year has been spent mostly indoors, and with many Brits searching on the web to book days out or to have something to look forward to, our British Classic Car Road Rally ticked all the boxes.
