Family Glamping & Stargazing Weekend

Enjoy a weekend of wonderment on this exclusive stargazing glamping weekend in Wales.

Stay in a fully equipped glamping pod complete with one double bed and one double sofa bed, en-suite, kitchenette, TV, heating, private deck with a picnic table, and hot tub.

Weather permitting, you will stargaze both nights guided by an expert astronomer on an in-depth programme covering the basics of astronomy, observation, and astrophotography. During this weekend you may be able to witness the Perseids Meteor Shower.

Valid only for the 26th and 27th August 2022. Cabins can sleep 4 adults or families of up to 5 people by prior agreement. This is a private event for Superstars clients, and you will be joined by 5 other groups.

Day 1

• 4pm Arrive at Hafren
• 6pm The basics of astronomy talk
• 7pm Break
• 7.30pm Introduction to astronomical equipment
• 9pm Break
• 10pm Astronomical Observation and Astrophotography (weather permitting)
• 2.30am Finish for the night

Day 2

• Enjoy the day at your leisure exploring Mid Wales
• 6pm What’s in the sky? talk
• 7pm Break
• 7.30pm Astrophotography – landscape and deep-sky imaging
• 9pm Break
• 10pm Astronomical Observation and Astrophotography (weather permitting)
• 2.30am Finish for the night
